10 / 06 / 2017: 200 laser from 4 continents and 18 countries start in Fouesnant the European Master
After the two days dedicated to measurements and inspections, tomorrow Sunday the Laser Master European Championship begins in French waters with the presence of 200 ships from 4 continents and 18 countries, with a greater presence in radial and lower standard. The European is organized by the Fouesnant-Cornouaille Nautic Centre, with the support of the French Sailing Federation and EURILCA. In total five days of competition where the ten sleeves will be in a single race field, since it has not reached enough of ships (more than 250) to be two.
In standard the country with the highest number of athletes will be France with a total of 20 lasers... followed by the United Kingdom with a dozen, while Spain will have six in competition. The other countries present are Austria, Belgium, Italy, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Denmark, Germany, Sweden, Australia, Martinique, Jamaica, South Africa and the United States. In radial there are far more than 100 ships, and here too France with no less than 36 is the largest expedition, after the Galos is precisely our country 25.
