Brilliant day of sea and wind lived this Saturday in the Ria de Arousa, offering an extraordinary sports show during the celebration of the XVII Regata Frinsa, which has gathered almost half a hundred ships arrived from different ports of the Galician geography. With some delay in the output, due to a somewhat roll weather component, the Committee was able to give the output half an hour after what was planned, once it started the wind and was positioned on the local free axis, which is the north-east, with an average intensity of about 12 knots.

The route chosen was number 2, with a distance of 8.5 miles (18 km.), going from the exit to a buoy de desmarque, Isla de Rúa (port), buoy del Ter (port) and arrival, which the sailboats covered very quickly. With this premise, in the Division of the largest, that of Regata, the first prize was taken the Santorum & Martínez Group, by Javier Durán, of the Nautical Club of Boiro. Second was the Oral Group Galiplant, by Pedro Pazos, of the Royal Nautical Club of Sanxenxo, which won him in a protest over the Siradella, in a right of passage over a buoy, which is known in the nautical argot as a babor@-@ starboard. Finally, the Protests Committee considered the Oral's argument, disqualifying the portosinense sailboat. Third in this class was the Meigas Fora, by José Codesido, of the Royal Portosin Nautical Club.

In Crucero- Regata the winner was the Camping Ria de Arosa, by José Manuel Pombar, of the Nautical Club of Boiro. He was followed by the Arnoia of Francisco Álvarez of the Beluso Nautical Club. And third the Wind of Levante, by Fernando González, from the Real Club Nautico Portosín. In Cruciero it was the Santiago Roma Rías Baixas, of Iñaki Carbada, of the Nautical Club of Beluso that took the Dorna of the trophy of the Regata Frinsa, as a clear winner. He was followed in the classification of the Piko Norte, by José Manuel Castro, from the Nautical Club of Boiro. And third, the sailboat of Portosin patrolled by Pablo Oliver, the Dracco.

Finally, in the Open Class, he was the Leonciño, of Domingo Fernández, of the Riveira Sports Nautical Club, the winner in this special Division. Segundo el Carpe Diem, de Fernando Sánchez, del Club Náutico de Rianxo. And third the Asterix, by Sergio Triñanes, from the Riveira Sports Nautical Club.
