The Madrileños Adrian Dupuy and Maite López-Cerón of the Royal Nautical Club of Madrid have today been proclaimed the new Spanish Master champions of the Snipe class. A third and last day that has been marked by the adverse wind conditions in the San Juan Embalse. Thus, the Madrileños Adrian Dupuy and Maite López-Cerón (RCN Madrid) proclaim new absolute champions of Spain Master Snipe 2017 at the same time as they take the national title in the Master Junior category, after signing on these four tests 2-3-5-5. 03 / 06 / 2017: Cajade-Tiroco de La Coruña will send in Madrid at the Master of Snipe
The second day of the Spanish Master of Snipe Championship, which has been at the Real Club Náutico in Madrid since last Friday and which ends tomorrow Sunday, July 4, has stopped a shift of leadership at the head of the fleet, with the Coruñés José Manuel Cajade and the Brazilian Alexandre Tiroco as new leaders. With about four hours of delay, as at the expected time the null wind and a strong previous chubbasco forced the regatta committee to set up deferral on the ground, it was possible to give the exit to what was to be the first test of the day, with the triumph of the Portuguese Pedro Pires, forming tandem with the madrileño Julio Soria after a race very complicated by the wind roles.
The second square was for the local Alfonso Oña and Blanca Sánchez, followed by Juan Manuel Cajade and Alexandre Tiroco, Jorn Haga and Esperanza Pérez and occupying the fifth square that until then led the fleet: Adrián Dupuy and Maite López. In the second test of the day, with an exit at 17: 50 hours, the wind already showed that it could complicate the fleet and the committee. That was the case, since in the second dyed the committee shortened the course in the face of the wind's fall. Cajada and Tiroco were going to write down this test so they went on to lead the national, thanks also to the partials they have obtained in the three previous tests and the partials of their rivals who have not shown themselves fine in this second test, fourth in the global computation.
