The 11th Cup of Spain of J80 played in Santander this weekend has seen, as already presumed, emotion to the end. Yates and Things, Ono, Maui Jim and the Mallorquin HM Hotels of Chacartegui closed the day with just one point of difference between each other, and everything to decide on the last day.

The two Sunday tests condemned the classification of the race organized by the Royal Maritime Club of Santander. If the first of the two tests scheduled on Sunday fell into the hands of the Okofen of the Galician Javier de la Gandara, the trial that closed the Spanish Cup would be at the hands of a team & # 8211Ono- who condemned the championship, winning the race with great power in front of its followers in addition to the 11th Spanish Cup of J80.

The 13th edition of the Spanish Cup of J80, organized by the Royal Maritime Club of Santander, is held from 2 to 4 June, and is part of the calendar of the 3rd International Sailing Week... which will be the prologue at the end of the World Cup of Olympic classes. Mercury by Jaime Piris and Maui Jim by Javier Aguado (second and third ranked in the 2017 Spanish Championship respectively), HM Hotels by Javier Chacartegui (Spanish champion 2016) and Trocadero Marbella Team of the shipowner Pepequín Orbaneja among the favorites. The national fleet of J80 in Santander will contest its second national quote of the calendar, with the fight of nine races in three days of competition and that will uncover the name of the team that will be made with the title of the Spanish Cup.

Among the calls are great teams of J80 that promise a very fierce struggle for the national title as are the second and third ranked in the last Spanish championship (the song Mercury by Jaime Piris and the Maui Jim of the Catalan Javier Aguado), the winner of the Spanish championship of J80 2016 (the balar HM Hotels by Javier Chacartegui) or the Andalusian Trocadero Marbella Team of the shipowner Pepequín Orbaneja and that on this occasion will be led by the subchampion of the world 2016 Erik Brezellec), as well as the third ranked in the World Way in the 2016. In addition to these powerful teams, we must not forget the cantabrian units such as the Yates and Things with Iker Almandoz at the command, Kia patroned by Fernando Pereda or the Ono with Pablo Santurde at the helm.
