"Spanish Impulse by Iberostar" begins official training in Bermuda

Throughout this week the Spanish Impress by IBEROSTAR team will have the official training for the Red Bull Youth America's Cup that will begin on June 12
During these seven days Spanish Impulse by IBEROSTAR can be measured to the teams of the Pool A, Artemis Youth Racing of Sweden, Team France Jeune of France, Kaijin Team Japan of Japan, Youth Viking of Denmark and Next Generation - Team Germany of Germany. For this training and the qualifying round, Spanish Impress by IBEROSTAR will sail on board Team Korea's AC 45, which has so far given very good sensations to all crew members of the team, and can premiere the new candles designed for the occasion.
According to the pattern, Jordi Xammar "This is the first time we have been on the official ship, and we are focusing on adjusting all the details, trying to adapt us as much as possible, taking advantage of the days to get to the top of the classification. This is the first time we have competed against our rivals and regatta with these ships is very different from training alone, so we are also learning how to regatta at these speeds and in fleet". The training pool will combine days in which teams will train individually and others in which races will take place with all. They will also perform boat-to-boat races and speed and tribate tests among them under the supervision of the technicians of the team Toni Rivas and Bernardo Freitas, the latter on board AC 45.
This is the antecdala to the great competition that will be on June 12 and 13 and that will face Spanish Impulse by IBEROSTAR with Candidate Sailing Team from Austria, Team BDA from Bermuda, Land Rover BAR Academy from Great Britain, NZL Sailing Team from New Zealand and Next Generation USA from the United States, for one of the four places that give access to the great end of June 20-21.
