The Spanish selection of Pyragüismo has finished its participation in the Second World Cup of Esprint 2017, which has ended today in the Hungarian city of Szeged, with a total of seven medals: one gold, two plates and four bronzes. In the last day of the competition, two silver medals have been reached in K-1 500 meters with Roi Rodríguez (1m.38s.428) and in K-4 500 (1m.19s.340) with Carlos Garrote, Cristian Toro, Marcus Cooper and Rodrigo Germade; and three bronze medals with Carlos Garrote (34s.56) in K-1 200, Adrián Sieiro and Sergio Vallejo (1m.41s.497) in C-2 500 meters and the K-4 500 (1m.3s.804) female of Sara, as well as in the Begoana de Isabel, as in the Bezanera.
One of the most expected finals has been the final of K1 200m men, reviving the final of Rio 2016 with the Olympic champion and subchampion and the Spanish Carlos Garrote who was about to win. In addition, they have been finalists Sara Ouzande (40s.862) in K-1 200 meters, where it has left seventh, and Carlos Arévalo (35s.090), in K-1 200 meters, fifth. In the mixed relief with Adrián Sieiro and Patricia Coco (14m.11s.370) in C-1 6 × 500 meters have been left seconds in their elimination and Camila Morison and Roi Rodríguez (11m.51s.193) in K-1 also occupied the second square.

The morning of the Zseded World Cup begins with the gold medal for Spain in Senior Man K2 1000m. In a very exciting race, Iñigo Peña and Paco Cubelos ended up in first position with a time of 3: 05: 624, obtaining the first gold medal for Spain, making almost a second advance to Ukraine that classified seconds and Czech Republic in third position.
