"Arrouted" was the king of the Celtic Sea... once again

The "Arroutado," by Iago López Marra and José Manuel Pérez, is made with the Gran Trofeo Faro de Corrubedo, in the 18th edition of the Regata Ramiro Carregal Rey, which organized the Real Club Náutico Portosín, in collaboration with the Club Náutico y Deportivo de Riveira. The sailing boat of the Royal Nautical Club Portosin also won in its individual division, that of Regata, imposing on units such as the Siradella, of Francisco Gude and César Alvarez, which were seconds, also of Portosin. Or to the Samtorum & Martínez Group, by Javier Durán, of the Boiro Nautical Club, which remained in bronze.

In the ORC CruceroRegata Class, the brilliant winner was another Portosinense ship, the Wind of Levante, by Fernando González. He was followed in the podium's drawer by the Indalo Nono, by José Antonio Deniz, also by Portosín. And in the third square, the First Ziralla, by Ramón Barreiro, which represented the grympola of the Royal Nautical Club of Sanxenxo. As for the Cruise, the trophy remained at home, being its local representative, the Somni, of Helmut Bande. Second was the Arosa VI, by José Luís Torres Colomer, also by Riveira, as president of the sports entity that also assumes Colomer. And the third place was for the Camp Site Ria de Arosa, from the Nautical Club of Boiro, which captains José Manuel Pombar.

The award was held at five o'clock in the afternoon, in a tent enabled for the occasion in the Riveirense port, with the presidency of the Carregal itself, which was accompanied by the Mayor of Porto do Son, Luís Oujo Pouso; both presidents, Jorge Arán and José Luís Torres Colomer, Portosín and Riveira, respectively, as well as their Comodoros, Fernando González and José Luís Lomba, and also by the president of the Galician Federation of Vela, Manuel Villaverde; and the sports councillor, Manuel Desonán.

Up to four attempts to exit had to override the Committee of the Ramiro Carregal Rey Regata, the first three out of the massive line of the sailboats as the submarine current prevailing in the Ria de Muros and Noia higher in intensity than that of the wind itself, pushing the ships above the line before the procedure ended, being the fourth by total fall of the component. At the fifth and with a west wind, it was possible to launch this eighteenth edition of the Great Faro Trophy of Corrudo, which was a maritime defeat between Portosín, whose Royal Nautical Club is the organizer, and Riveira, of which its Nautical and Sports Club is a collaborator.

Visual and tactical show offered by the largest of the fleet, such as the Arroutado, by José Manuel Pérez, patronioned by Iago López Marra; the Siradella, by Francisco Gude and César Álvarez; the Gaias Clinic, the new project by José María Peinó; the Samtorum & Martínez, by Javier Durán; or the Galimplant, by Pedro Pazos, which carried Pancho González in the largest; highlighting the work carried out by the sailboats of the rest of categories such as the Ria de Arousa, by Manuel Pombar; the Arousa, by José José, or by the Rárira de Baris, among others; and by the Rárira, by the Rára, by José, by the Rára, by the Rára de Baris.

Almost 30 miles of coastal tour on this first day, with no conclusive results due to the journey, which some ships will take to complete. These same results will be added in the Sunday to the two barlovento-sotavento that will complete the picture of the competition inside the Ria de Arousa, with departure from the vicinity of the Nautical and Sports Club of Riveira, at 12 noon.

26 / 05 / 2017: Attractive Regata de Vela Ramiro Carregal Rey in the Galician Middle Rivers

The 18th edition of the Ramiro Carregal Rey Long-time Regata is on Saturday from the vicinity of the Real Club Nautico Portosín, organizer of the event in conjunction with the Club Nautico y Deportivo de Riveira. With a coastal route, this first day of the race will take the sailboats from the Ria de Muros and Noia to the Arousa, on a tour full of great landscape beauty, the central axis being the Corrudo Lighthouse from which the owners of each participating ship are played their possession.

With special attention to the baskets of Basoñas and the Paso de Sagres, the regatists will enjoy all the attractiveness of the coast, doing an inland navigation towards the end of the route, after having drawn more open rounds. On Sunday the tests will be held inside the Arousan ria, with two tests in the wind between buoys, that is, the barlovento-sotavento type.

Several are the favorites, among them the Siradella, by Francisco Gude and César Álvarez, who come from winning the Guardian Regata of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo and the Military Naval School of Marin; the Arroutado, by José Manuel Pérez, both ships of the RCN Postosin. The Oral Group Galiplant, by Pedro Pazos, of the Royal Nautical Club of Sanxenxo; or the new project by José María Peinó, with his Gaias Clinic, which will run through the portosinense club, inject a good dose of emotion and competitive level.
