Sunday's day gave way to the final races of the five Olympic classes that yesterday did not celebrate their great end.

Radial laser. The point mattress accumulated by the Belgian Evi Van Acker has been valid for, although it ends in seventh position (14 sts.) its final race, to rise with the gold. Second was the Greek Vasileia Karachaliou (8 pts. in the final race) and third the Uruguayan Dolores Moreira (4).

Finn. Echávarri and Pacheco have hung the gold in Nacra 17, in a Santander World Cup that has not yet finished. The 49er class, which has also finished its final race, crown the British duo Peters / Stortt, followed by the Poles Przybytek / Kolodzinski and the British Fletcher / Bithell. 08 / 06 / 2017: Sailing World Cup Santander: Echávarri and Pacheco are left alone

The third day of competition at the end of the cup of the sailing world has begun to define the classification of the 10 Olympic classes that sail in Santander. The wind has blown from the 280º throughout the morning, with stockings of 15 knots, and has rotated in the afternoon until 223º with 18 knots of average. Tomorrow, Friday, will be a decisive day for the RS: male and female X, 49er, 49er FX and Nacra 17 that will celebrate the race medals on Saturday. The rest of the classes will play the final race on Sunday.

Diego Botín and Iago López continue to go back to positions in the 49er classification and are located in the fourth square. In the first test of the day, Botín and López have finished undecimos after flying in the last tranfered near the line of arrival. The Spanish team has recovered from the company winning the second race and crossing the goal in fourth position in the third. On the contrary, the Federico and Arturo Alonso brothers today have signed their worst results and are twelfth. "Tomorrow we have three races to get into the medal race and we'll try," said Arturo.

In the Nacra 17 class, Fernando Echávarri and Tara Pacheco maintain the lead. The Galician canary team has completed the day with a second, a fourth and a third place. The strong wind rachas that have blown before the santanderin dune have led to a turn of Echávarri and Pacheco that has led them to add their worst result in a test to date, a quarter. "We have had a very busy day, very demanding for the crew. It has been a day of explosive work," said Pacheco. "That is why we have turned, towards barlovento, for a streak that we have not been able to control," he added.

The strong wind that has blown in the race field of the 470 women has not been favourable for the three Spanish ships in this class. complicated day for RS Regatists: Male and Female X. Ivan Pastor, the best classified Spanish in tables, closes the day in the eighth position while Sergi Scandinell falls to post twelve. The other Spanish representatives are Joan Carles Cardona (14) and Broja Carracedo (15). On female tables, Blanca Carracedo continues in the nineteenth position.

Today's strong wind has billed the sisters Carla and Marta Munté. At the moment, the Spanish team of 49er FX at the end of the world cup is in eleventh position, although they keep the options of entering the medal race this Saturday intact.

06 / 06 / 2017: Great Britain, France and Spain shine in the premiere of the World Cup in Santander

Spain is on the provisional podium of the final of the Santander World Cup in two classes. Fernando Echávarri and Tara Pacheco sail at home really right and always at the top, leading them to the classification of Nacra 17. The crews of 470 female Barbara Cornudella and Sara López join the first position, followed by Silvia Más and Patricia Cantero in second place.

Great Britain with ten podiums, France with four and Spain with two lead the medal of the final of the Santander World Cup. Laser Radial: Moreira (Uruguay), Karachaliou (Greece) and Falasca (Argentina) are on the provisional podium. The Spanish Martina Reino is twelfth in the general of the day.

Finn. Podium in three different points. The British Edward Wright and Henry Wethewell sit on the podium with a closed fight and just a point of difference between each other, followed by the Hungarian Zsombor Berecz. The vast majority of the teams have taken advantage of the excellent weather conditions offered by Santander Bay, for a session of free training, which have made the delights of the competitors and demonstrated the potential of both the Santanderin Bay and the Open Bay. Tomorrow Tuesday will start the competition from 12: 00, with all the Olympic classes that are a ten and the Kite comets playing the two, three or six races they have scheduled on the first day of competition.

Santander will enjoy the privilege of being able to mount six areas of race (three in the bay and three on the outside) simultaneously. The sports opening will take place in the area of the Duna Zaera, which will enable all fans to follow the competition from the ground - at 12 noon with the male tables (RS: X) and the women at 12: 30. Both classes will dispute three tests. 25 / 05 / 2017: The World Cup (4-11 June) makes Santander the world capital of the Olympic sailing

145 races is the number of tests scheduled in six days of competition for the organization of the World Cup final to be held in Santander from 4 to 11 June. A very high number of races that will test the five race committees that will conduct the tests. The Olympic Santanderina event will begin on Sunday, June 4, with an opening ceremony at 8 p.m. on the main stage of the University of Nautics and will officially mark the start of the World Cup final. The opening event will feature Spanish TV host Anne Igarbiaru. The Royal Maritime Club of Santander has confirmed the six race fields in which the World Cup Final Santander of Olympic classes will be held and which will occupy both the Santanderin Bay and its Atlantic coast. Outside the Santanderina Bay, the Royal Maritime Club of Santander will have a race course to the south-west of Cabo Mayo, another off the island of Santa Marina and a third in the vicinity of the Sarmono beaches. The Santanderina Bay will have three main scenarios: a first more external area in front of the Somo beach, another in the Pedreña herring area and the star stage a few meters from the steps in the Zaera dune: the race field called the Duna. The different teams will have to deal in these areas, a priori more protected, with currents and tides as well as a more variable wind system than on the outside of the bay.
