The 44 Cornudella Trophy, the most emblematic race of Club Nàutic El Balís, has had its day of full splendour with over 200 crews distributed in the twelve classes participating in the water, on a day marked by the wind of Levante between 6 and 12 knots of intensity that has not stopped blowing throughout the day.

Rafael Rabasa remains a firm leader in the European Class of Catalonia Championship. The local regatist reached the second cycle as the first and today has performed a 1-15-5, which keep it in front of the classification, with a comfortable advantage of 17 points ahead of the second classified, the gerundense Oriol Piña (CN L'Estartit). Third is Joan Freixa (CN El Balís). Lluïsa Puig (CN L'Estartit) holds the first position in the female category and the fifth in the general category. It is worth noting the entry into competition of the world champion, Elisabeth Llargués (CN Lloret de Mar) who has performed a 2-1-3, but having not participated last weekend occupies the 33 position.

The Finn class, which was unable to compete on Friday due to the strong wind, has done so on this day where it has conducted four tests. Adrián Bedoya (BISC) is the first leader, followed by Axel Muñoz (CV Blanes) to a point and Miguel Alvarez (CV Calella), who is third.

In Laser Radial the Mònica Azón (CN El Masnou) has demonstrated its potential on this first day with three first in the three tests performed. Oriol Griera (CN El Masnou) is second and Josep Maria Castellví (CN Cambrils) is third.

In the Laser Standard class, Leandro Rosado (CN Bétulo) has started the day with a second and finished it with two first. He leads the general with an advantage point above Arturo Noguer (CN El Balís). In Laser 4.7 he is undefeated leader Sergi Sevil (CN Cambrils) with three first, follow him to five points Ricard Castellví (CN Cambrils) and Lluís Blázquez (CN Premió), second and third, respectively.

In Optimist in Group 1, the total domain of the regatists of the CN El Balís, leads Arnau Gelpí, followed by Alexandre and Sebastian Riquelme-Beckman. In Group 2 head Guim Carulla (CN El Balís) with Joana Giralt (CN Vilassar de Mar) second and Oscar Gimeno (CN Arenys de Mar) third. In Group 3 is first Gonzalo Ferrando (CN El Balís).

In 420 the gerundenses Lucas and Teo Parara (CV Blanes) lead the general after two seconds and a partial first. At ten points are the brothers Pol and Alex Marsans (CN El Masnou) and third Sigfrid Rovira and Cris Cortés (CN El Balís).

In the 29er class there is a four-point tie at the front of the classification between Tania Bonilla / Núria Miró and Pep Costa / Fran Nuñez, both crews of the CN El Garraf, third are Albert Gelpí / Alexandre Boquet (CN El Balís / CN Garraf).

In windsurfing classes, in Raceboard is first Guillemos Segu (CN Salou), in Techno 293 Xavi Jofre (CN Salou) and in initiation Julia Alós (CM Torredembarra).

Tomorrow Sunday the last day of the 44 Cornudella Trophy will be held from 11: 00 in the morning.
