This weekend the competition returns to the 44 Cornudella Trophy that is held in the waters of Port Balís. If the 6 and 7 May were the Europe with the start of the Catalan Championship, this weekend from 12 to 14 the rest of the classes will be incorporated: Finn, Optimist, Laser Standard, Radio 4.7, 420, 29er, Windsurf and Catamaran. It will be a total of 220 ships.

Rafael Rabasa (CN El Balís) will go on to defend the lead in the European class's Catalan Championship, after he was the great dominator last weekend. Rabasa will leave with a 12-point advantage over the second classified, the gerundense Oriol Piña (CN L'Estartit). The third place is occupied by Joan Freixa (CN El Balís) and the first female is Lluïsa Puig (CN L'Estartit) which occupies the sixth position to the general.

The Finn class was planning to start the competition today, but the strong wind that was blowing on the coast of the Maresme, of a southwestern component above 20 knots of intensity, finally made the fleet stay to port.

The Optimist class will be the largest with the fleet distributed in three groups, with a total of 51 regatists, followed by the Europe class with 50 registered, Windsurf (Techo and Raceboard) with 37, Laser Radial with 22 and 420 with 18.

This way this Saturday will return the competition with all the water classes from 11.30 in the morning where all the ships are expected to do three tests. On Sunday, the last day of the Cornudella Trophy, the races will start from 11: 00 in the morning.

Aloha Maker, 13 and 14

Coincido con el Trophy Cornudella 2017, on 13 and 14 May, will take place at the instaelations of the CN El Balís el Aloha Market with the participation of different fashion exhibitors, accessories, art, decoration and different playful and sports activities.
