"Alinghi" wins in China and leads the Extreme Sailing Series after two disputed acts
The Alinghi crew were crowned as the kings of Qingdao for the second consecutive year after taking the second act of the 2017 Extreme Sailing Series ™ "Mazarin" Cup season ahead of the other six international teams. The Helvetic pattern, Arnaud Psarofaghis, led his men to victory in a breeze of between 8 and 18 knots, after adding 11 podium finals in 17 sleeves with four wins. The Alinghi domain was consecrated in the fifth manga of the day when, after completing a penalty for crossing the exit line before time, they managed to cross the arrival line first.
On the same day, the young people of Land Rover BAR Academy completed their promotion from being a talented promise team to becoming a serious threat and climbed into the second podium drawer despite being forced to leave the last two sleeves for damage to their boat.
