The second day of the Nautical Hall of Denia has begun with the act of the release of a boba turtle recovered in the ARCA of the Oceanographic Sea, in the eyes of dozens of spectators who have witnessed the emotional moment on board a catamaran in front of the Deportivo Marina of Denia.

The intake of plastics and the accidental capture by fishing networks are some of the most common causes of entry of sea turtles at the ARCA recovery centre of the Oceanographic Sea, which serves animals stranded throughout the coast of the Valencia Community rescued by the Network of Varings of which it is part of the Conselleria de Agricultura, Medio Ambiente, Cambio Climático y Desarrollo Rural and the University of Valencia.

Respect for the environment and the protection of the marine environment are the main actors in the activities offered this year within the Nautical Hall, according to Gabriel Martínez, director of the Nautical Hall of Denia.
