Luis Díaz in Laser Standard, Álvaro Pérez in Laser 4.7 and Jacobo Fernández in Optimist, new champions of Asturias... the photo is a pass and, of course, the work of that photographer from another galaxy is Felix González Muñiz.

During the weekend, the Laser Standard, Laser 4.7 and Optimist were held in the waters of the Bay of San Lorenzo, under the direction of the Real Club Astur de Regatas and the collaboration of the Federation of Sailing of the Principality of Asturias. Only the three sleeves scheduled for the day could be navigated on Saturday, with a wind from the north-east that began to loose and would reach up to 15 knots, bordicillo in the water and clear day. On Sunday, on the other hand, he did not go out to sail because of the temporary fort on the Cantabria coast.

In Laser Standard, the main favorite of the final win, Luis Díaz, who last year had won the subchampionship, on this occasion gave no choice to his most direct rivals winning the three sleeves of Saturday day, which would eventually give him the triumph in the class. The second square was obtained, Bruno González, closing the podium posts, Covadonga Grana.

Alvaro Pérez, who last year had won the Asturias Championship of Optimist, this year when changing class due to age, was awarded the Laser 4.7, with three wins in his locker, followed by Diego Jiménez with two seconds and a third place, the third square would be for, Irene García. The most difficult class was certainly that of Optimist, where the title was decided on the last sleeve. In the end, Jacobo Fernández, who punctured the first test by scoring a fourth position, had an excellent reaction by winning the following two races and proclaiming himself a new champion of Asturias. The second place would be for Covadonga Fernández with a first, second and third place tied to 6 points with Jacobo. The third position would be for, Fernando Alonso.
