Cadiz Bay presents its candidacy to organize the World Catamaran F18

After several months of working to complete the best offer, the nomination of the Puerto Sherry Nautical Club was recently made public for the organization in the next year 2019 of the World Championship of Catamaran F18.

The International class was responsible for formalizing the one that for the moment is the only candidate for the organization of the event and did so through its different channels of dissemination, which in itself is an important endorsement for achieving the goal of being the organizing country.

At the moment, other applications are still being cooked, so we will have to wait for the deadline to be closed and the different options are ready for judgment, in this respect and according to some sources it is pointed out to countries such as Australia, New Zealand or England without any confirmation at this time.

The decision will be taken in July in Denmark, this year's world seat, and if not, the end of the year is the top to know the name of the selected country. If elected, Spain would take the witness of the United States, a country that will organize the world in 2018.

The Spanish and Andalusian candidacy is one step further in the firm bet of the CN Puerto Sherry for the Catamaran class, which has been based in a large majority since this year the marina, organizer of a league that has already run since February, as well as the Cup of Andalusia and the Spanish Championship in the coming months of May and September, respectively.
