The morning of Saturday devoted to individual tests was marked by a great participation, with over 100 clubs and 700 palists, in a splendid field of races, with a pleasant and very lively time from the stand. The beginning of the Olympic Tests in the National League Grand Prix Lotteries and State Bet has set out new protagonists in the first day of the Spanish Cup, a day with high-height ends, such as the one that the senior Olympic champion Marcus Cooper, the also Olympic Francisco Cubelos and the young Roi Rodríguez, who in the end was meritedly imposed in the 1000 meters. Also at this distance from the kilometer, the very young Catalan Laia Pelachs, which in the final meters outnumbered her fellow National Team Begoña Lazkano and Laura Pedruelo.

The male canoe had the accent on Adrián Sieiro, which was raised with the victory, somewhat unexpected, over the tussed Brais Casas and the favorite Diego Romero. Adrián, a specialist at shorter distances, made a technically impeccable race by far exceeding his rivals. Patricia Coco, in the female canoe, kept the lead with a hollow triumph in the 500 meters, imposing on Belén Díaz and Adriana Paniagua. The day was completed in the Junior category, with outstanding performances in the kayak of Pablo Roza, and Barbara Pardo, and in the canoe of David Barreiro and María Pérez, who rose with the triumph in their respective distances.
