Antonio Gaona of the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo proclaimed himself the winner of the Trophy Naval Effects Jesus Betanzos- WOR60 in standard master laser that was organized by the Maritime Liceo of Bouzas, and was held in the waters of the Ria de Vigo. In the radial class the victory was for the Portuguese Serafim Gonçalves. The race is framed within the tests that the Vicedecan of the Galician nautical plan to launch before the European Laser Master Championship of October 2018.

The veteran José María González Alonso, who did an impeccable job, in which he supported good weather conditions, acted as a judge. Among the radials the victory of Gonçalves offered no doubt, as the laser of Póvoa do Varzim achieved five first in the six sleeves held. For his part, Gaona among the standard, did not have it as easy in his category as he achieved two first, two seconds and a quarter... by dismissing a ninth. The silver was for Juan Pazó. In the masters Iago Carballo was the secretary of the class in Galicia and was second Miguel Reboreda.
