The Vicedecan of the Galician nautical, the Bouzas Maritime Liceo in search of its origins

The Rapist of Bouzas was born in the bosom of the Liceo on the Christmas of 1913, as seen on the foundational flag are two oars, sailing boats and rowing boats... a jewel that is preserved in perfect condition
In Galicia the dean of the nautical is the Real Club of Regatas Galicia de Villagarcía de Arosa. It was created in 1902 and has as its founding president the grandfather of our Nobel Prize, Camilo José Cela. They were the beginning of the last century, when the ports used by British ships first knew sports like football (the Galician town has always discussed with the small mouth whether it is the Dean or a "ancestor" club of the present Arosa), and the candle or rowing as basically Anglo-Saxon sports. This very clear decanate, in 1906, has its bridesmaid as the vicedecan of the Galician nautical: the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo... however as well as a report in Vida Gallega, the unforgettable Afonso Castelao, disappeared in 1910 to the point that the property of the club are distributed among its obligationists, a club that occupied the dock area of the Areal that would later be used to locate the Navy Command of Vigo, and that it had very close the early Astilleros Barreras, which are now moving to many years, where they are to the Old City Hall, where they are now, and where they are to many years.
Well, to understand the story, you have to know that Bouzas until 1904 was an independent villa in Vigo. According to the chronicles of the time Bouzas had many debts and Vigo promised to take care of them by maintaining the status of Bouzas, as if it were a villa immersed in the Great Vigo, but with some autonomy. As so many things in our history were not fulfilled and we arrived in 1907, very recent this unit that never annexed and was born the Maritime Liceo of Bouzas, a nautical club that was the third in antiquity in Galicia, which would become the second with the disappearance of the Nautico of Vigo (the present one was refounded by Estanislao Durán in 1926)... precisely in 1926 was born another of the great Galician clubs: the Real Nautico Club of La Coruña.

Sometimes the unknowns of our history have logical explanations... the L of the CIS and the grimpolon of the Bouzas Maritime Licensing
We found out many things, were years of many discussions, were a period of strong dispute between Bouzas and Vigo (which were very similar to that) increased by football-ball with two teams from the then A Series (the first current division) among which there were more than words: the Bouzas Fortuna and the Real Vigo Sporting. The colors of the Fortuna were those of Bouzas: burdeos and white... the burdeos for its flag and the white for its silver... The Bouzas Maritime Liceum is born and the choice of its colors is at least surprising: yellow and black... it seems that you did not want to put the red and white of the marine province of Vigo for obvious reasons... then why yellow and black?... the colors of the Bouzas Villa are the granate and silver... as a demonstration is the old pendon of the Villa that is exposed in the Museum of Castrelos... because very simple by the L of Lima and Liceo. This is how the history of the Vicedecan of Galician nautical is written.
