27 / 04 / 2017: This weekend in Sestao the Spanish Bateles Championship

The Spanish Federation of Remo has just published the order of departure for the Spanish Bateles Championship that is held this weekend in the Bilbao Ria, in Sestao:

On April 29 and 30, the Spanish Bateles Championship will be held in the Vizcaine Sestao. The race field will be installed in the Dársena de la Benedicta, with the organization of the Spanish Federation of Remo, the Vasca and the support of the Sestaotarra City Council. In competition there will be two categories of women: the promises that will be made in 1000 meters and the absolute in 2000. The men will compete in 1000, 1500 and 2000, depending on children, cadets and youth.

The maximum number of batels per category will be ten, and it is expected that Saturday, April 29, will be held from 4: 00 in the afternoon in what will be the eliminations, and the finals will be held on Sunday 30 (final B at 10: 00, and final A at 11.30: 00).

The selection criteria will be that the maximum per federation will be three crews (between one and three depending on the participation in the respective classification races of each autonomy), plus the champion of the previous year and one of free designation by the Basque Federation, as an organizer.
