After the National of 420 on Saturday is held the Spanish Championship for autonomy, also in Vigo

Marta Garrido del Real Club Marítimo y de Tennis de Punta Umbria) and Clara Llabrés del Club Nàutic s'Arenal de Mallorca, were proclaimed today Good Friday, Spanish champions of Class 420, which is organizing the Real Club Náutico de Vigo and the Real Federación Española de Vela, with the sponsorship of Aguas de Sousa.

Marta Garrido del Real Club Marítimo y de Tennis de Punta Umbria y Clara Llabrés del Club Náutico de s'Arenal de Mallorca continue in the leadership of the 420-Aguas de Sousa Spanish Championship, which is being held in the waters of the Ría de Vigo with the organization of the Real Club Náutico de Vigo and the Real Federación Española de Vela. The Andalusian-balar couple totaled 22 points, after a day in which the participants had to wait patiently several hours for the sleeves to begin. In the end after waiting the winds were generous: 12 to 15 knots, already early in the afternoon.

The second square, already a long distance for Carlos Balaguer and Toni Massanet, while the leaders of the first day: María Bover of the Royal Nautico Club of Valencia and Nacho Balaguer of the Nautico of Valencia, who do not hold the power of the leader tandem that will take them in no less than 15 points!. Little wind in the Ria de Vigo, on the second day of the 420-Agua de Sousa Spanish Championship that organizes the Royal Nautical Club of Vigo. The eight knots that blew in the first hours greatly complicated the competition to the crews, on a day when part of the regatists changed their group, compared to the compositions of the first day. Despite the wind conditions, the minimum requirements were met, since both groups could complete at least one sleeve, so the "gold group" in which the national title will already be fought could be formed.

The current champion, Marc Lladó (RCN Palma), will be in the Golden Group although for now away from the Top Ten by appearing at 25 with 60 points. Who will have to settle for the Silver group is Alba Trigo (RCN Sanxenxo), the Spanish champion of Optimist in 2016.

On Wednesday he gave very little of himself, as far as morning is concerned, only a mangain in which the Gerundenses Lucas Parés and Teo Parés of the Blanes Sailing Club did the same in the blue group, while the yellow one had at the first place in the general... the Majorcan Aina Colom and Victoria Sisk of the Nàutic 'Arenal Club of Mallorca, in the Tevedrés tandem of the Real Club of Sea of Aguete: Andrés Alvarez- Pablo García, to its leaders.

After this long sleeves wait for the fleet, until a soft south-west wind came in that gave rise to two new valid sleeves. The Andalusian-Majorcan couple, composed of Marta Garrido de Punta Umbria and Clara Llabrés del Arenal, did in the afternoon 1-2 what they were worth to get the lead. In the second position, also with 13 points, the leader of the first day María Bover del Náutico de Palma that has as proel to the Valencian Nacho Balaguer... the third being the Galician Andres Alvarez and Pablo García, with 14 points. María Bover and Nacho Balaguer who compete for the Real Club Nautico de Palma are the provisional leaders of the 420-Trofeo Agua de Sousa Spanish Championship that has started with the organization of the Real Club Nautico de Vigo. Spectacular beginning of the National of Class 420, with the celebration of the first of the two days planned of qualification face to the final rounds. 10 / 04 / 2017: National of 420 in Vigo with 86 ships and the sponsorship of Aguas de Sousas

With a good level of participation, 86 ships of which four are Portuguese, begins in Vigo with the organization of the Royal Nautical Club the Spanish Championship of class 420. It will be the star test of the Viguese club as regards light sailing in terms of competitions with national rank of this season, as were the Snipe Cups in 2016 and Vaien's in 2015. The Galician company Aguas de Sousa will be the main sponsor of the event.

Among the participants have confirmed their participation Marc Lladó and María Bover of the Real Club Náutico de Palma, which are the patterns that will defend their national male and female titles from the previous season. On the part of the host stand out the current Spanish champions sub19 of the specialty Carlota Hernández and Ana Carrasco, as well as the best sub17 of the last National: Luis Doreste and Julio Alonso of the Real Club Náutico de Gran Canaria. It is also necessary to highlight the former Spanish champion of the optimist class Alba Trigo of the Royal Nautical Club of Sanxenxo, one of the largest promises of the sailing at the national level.

At the technical level, the fleet will be divided into two groups, which will compete Tuesday and Wednesday, with the signs of attention at 10: 00 in both days. For Thursday and Friday the finals of the gold and silver groups will be held, being destined for the National Saturday by Autonomies.
