The Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge trophy is considered the most important international circuit of classic and time sailing. This circuit covers 10 of the most fascinating and most traditional maritime races in the world, with a calendar that has become a reference point for lovers of the impressive beauty, glorious history and absolute singularity of classic boats. As is already a tradition in the Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge trophy, the stages of France (Antibes, Cannes), Italy (Argentario) and Spain (Mahón, on the island of Menorca) form the Mediterranean Circuit.

In the second Panerai Classic Yachts Challenge trophy, the ships participating in the Marblehead, Newport and Nantucket races compete to win the North American Circuit, which is held every August and September in New England waters. In addition to the general trophies of the Mediterranean Circuit and the North American Circuit, the winners of individual events (including the Old Classic Yacht Regatta and the Panerai British Classic Week, which for geographical reasons are not included in any of the circuits) will receive a Panerai watch as a prize. Since designing and producing the first watch for the Italian Navy's special diving body in 1936, Panerai has created precision instruments that combine the impressive Italian design with the Swiss watchmaking technology, making them ideal for sea lovers.
