The Valencia Boat Show presents its new image for 2017

The Valencia Boat Show is already preparing its 2017 edition, which will be held from 1 to 5 November, in La Marina de València, with more square meters of cover exposure. The living room has presented its new image for 2017, which is inspired by the Mediterranean Sea and the dynamism of nautical activities.

For 2017 the competition maintains the slogan of the last edition "València Navega," to which it adds the phrase "now with all the nautical," as one of the great news of this year is the incorporation of other sports such as surfing, windsurfing, paddle surfing, kayak or diving, among others, that will add to the fleet of new boats in exhibition. The entire offer of aquatic activities will be located in the cover exhibition of the newly restored Tinglado Nº2, which represents an additional area of 5,000 m2 compared to the 2016 edition."This year we are betting on the incorporation of other water sports that are more affordable and that are the gateway to sailing and motor. We want to open ourselves to a wider audience and more generations and we want to spread the nautical", says the director of the contest, Fernando Jiménez, who points out that "the success of last year's hall showed us that, indeed, Valencia sails. We have very good conditions for nautical sports, and we are positioning ourselves as a nautical destination in Europe."

The image of the Valencia Boat Show 2017 represents a candle divided into five parts, which will work on a textured blue background or with this texture on white background. "I wanted to reflect the light and water of the Mediterranean Sea. The five parts of the candle represent the five continents and the slogan" València navega "is made with handwritten letters, transmitting the dynamism of the nautical activities," says Japanese designer Yukari Taki, based in Valencia since 1998 and responsible for the image of this year's living room.

The Valencia Boat Show is organized by the Union of Nautical Enterprises (UEN), an association of companies in the nautical sector of the Valencia Community, with the support of Consortium Valencia 2007, the public body formed by the City of Valencia, the Generalitat Valenciana and the Government of Spain that manages the infrastructure of the Marina Real Juan Carlos I, as well as Tourism Valencia, the City of Valencia, the City of Valencia and the Generalitat Valenciana.
