The team of the José Luis de Ugarte School of Selling of the Real Club Marítimo del Abra-Real Sporting Club has started the 2017 season as the last one ended, that is, dominating in most of the classes and tests in which it participates in the Cantábrico. Thus, the Vizcaínos regatists took off at the XX Royal Maritime Club of Santander, which was held in the Optimist, Laser classes (Radial, Standard and 4.7) and FEVA. Juan Olábarri is still with his winning streak and has been established with authority in this regatwithin of the optimist class, ending with 3 points. His colleagues from Club Miguel Antona, Aitor Carton, Gabriel Oraá and Tanis Rey-Baltar were third, fourth, fifth and seventeenth, respectively. On the other hand, in Laser Radial there was full of the RCMA-RSC regatists with podium completed with Nicolás Viar (3 points), Tomás Trueba (6 points) and Manolo Rey-Baltar (8 points), in a class in which Perico Basterra finished fifth. The FEVA class also saw at the top of the classification the Andoni and Iñigo Lejarraga brothers, with Cristina Terry and Nerea Alvarez in the third position, the sisters Lucía and Inés Salcedo in the fifth, Iñigo Abásolo and Asier Piépoli sextos and Alba Ortega and Carmen Arbaiza octavas. Ignacio Aja was fifth in Laser 4.7.
