This weekend the Spring Open was held in Banyoles, a race of access to the national team

Good weekend at the gerundense Lake of Banyoles, with a lot of participation: 230 boats from half of Spain. In the "A" seniors held on Sunday morning, Rubén Padilla of the Real Regatas Club of Alicante obtained gold in male absolute skiff, followed by the local Jordi Jofre and the Galician David Prada of the Remo do Miño Club. In "2 without" absolute male, the tadmen of the Nautico Club of Seville composed of Jaime Canalejo and Javier García obtained the first square, followed by the Basque-Andalusian couple Jon Carazo and Ismael Montes that competed for Orío and Labradores... the bronze was for the Catalans Pau Franquet and Pau Vela of the Mixmo Real Club Nautico de Tarragona- Rem Tortosa.

In skiff "light weight" the gold was for the world champion of the category, the pontevedrés Rodrigo Conde that belongs to the Club de Remo Robaleira de A Guarda, ahead of two sevillanos: Daniel Gutiérrez (Nautico de Sevilla) and Patrocio Rojas (Labradores). Virginia Díaz de Raspas del Embarcadero was the best in female absolute skiff... the other metals for Estel Boix (Banyoles) and Rocío Lago (Náutico Sevilla), finally in "2 without" female absolute the Olympic Anna Boada and Victoria Cis (mixed Ampolla- Olimpic of Barcelona) obtained gold, ahead of the couple Valeria Palma- María Carmen Ortiz del Náutico de Sevilla and the tandem alicantino Belén García and Miriam Kreusel. Next weekend in Banyoles will take place the Open of Spring, with the range of being basic for the preparation of the Spanish Olympic rowing team, the different tests will start on Saturday at 9: 00 in the morning, in total about 230 boats from Andalusia, Catalonia, Valencia Community, Aragon, Galicia, Asturias, Madrid and the Basque Country.
