The J70 Class is an emerging mode around the world. With more than 1,500 units, about half a thousand are in Europe. It is a 22-foot long sailboat, that is, almost 7 meters long, and in which they sail between 4 or 5 crew, depending on the wind conditions. It belongs to the family of the monotypes, ships that compete on equal conditions and where the results on each sleeve are recorded in real time, without the application of times compensated because they are of identical characteristics. It is versatile, easy to handle and road travel by having a keel that is collected in its plank, providing a low height when uploading it to its transport trailer. The J70 has a technical and very competitive design, used by the world's best crews as an ideal platform for high-level training and preparation. Vigo has become one of the pioneering cities in Europe in the implementation of a quality sports project, thanks to the illusion and interest shown by a group of shipowners and sportsmen who created the Spanish Association of the Class, channeling through the Royal Nautical Club the launch of a race circuit, which is currently in dispute with the sponsorship of Pazo de Cea - Gloria.
