The Spanish Federation of Surfing, through its Department of Training, will continue to organize training courses in different Autonomous Communities in 2017, regulated in accordance with the general requirements and effects of sports formations that mark the order CD / 158 / 2014 of 5 February, which regulates official sports teachings. As a novelty for 2017, FESurfing has created a National Training Commission, in which we will develop various lines of action in coordination with the training officers of the Autonomous Federations attached to FESurfing.

The title of Surf Level I National Trainer is intended for those technicians who begin teaching the technique and tactics of this sport, as well as for directing and programming training in clubs and schools, at the level of sports initiation. The course begins with a specific test in which you will have to demonstrate your surfer skills (Resolution 7 of February 2012 of the Chair of the CSD). Once the test is completed, you will have to carry out the face-to-face course that is divided into 5 areas: skills, teaching, safety, material and regulation, these contents will be developed in the online block to be applied during the course supervised by the teacher with a cooperative working methodology. Your evaluation will be done at the end of the online and face-to-face block and you will have 150 hours of practice to develop your teaching-learning method in the official schools of the FESuring. In addition, for those interested in developing their training activity outside the national territory FESurfing has an agreement with the ISA (Interanational Surfing Association) for the validation and certification of the title of International Surf Instructor (ISA Level one Surf instructor).
