The double Olympic medalist joins the candidacy of Jesus Turró to the presidency of the RFEV to "bring the view of the athlete and to link the needs of the regatists and the board. Sensitizing it to be able to optimize resources." At present, Natàlia Via-Dufresne continues to sail and, in addition, trains, advises and organizes races.

Via- Dufresne argues that it is essential to work on the basis and take into account the views of those involved in order to be able to invest the aid in what is really needed. It gives an example of the category of youth, "a very difficult stage because many boys and girls leave it at a time when it is very difficult to combine sport with studies. They must be supported so that they can train and compete in the best possible conditions." The regatist also stresses the importance of making efforts to enable families and clubs to reduce costs in transport or accommodation, among others.

The medalist and Jesus Turró coincided with the Olympic team of '92, "we were a family, a team, we were going to 1: 00 and I think it's something that has been lost." Via-Dufresne points out that in recent years the sport of the candle has been too individualized, "no longer exist the sparings and each one focuses on their personal victory." It accuses this loss of team spirit "to the little involvement, sometimes, of the Federation. There are some female teams who are not even assigned coach." In this regard, it proposes that the RFEV organize concentrations in which regatists from different clubs work together. It also places particular emphasis on the importance of "training, recycling, valuing and motivating technicians, as their work is not always recognized enough." This is why he demands that "the new Federation be put on the skin of the regatist."

Natàlia Via- Dufresne is convinced that Jesus Turró is the person who can make the changes that the Federation needs. "It has things clear, it can listen, it will bring new air and transparency in management." On economic recovery he notes that "Turró has shown that he can get sponsors and that he has the ability to run teams" and adds, "he does not depend on this post, he does so because this sport is his life."
