The headquarters of the Madrilestra de Vela Federation, in the building "El Barco" in Madrid, held the Ordinary General Assembly on Wednesday, March 1, and attended the members of the Board of Directors as well as Class Secretaries. The 2016 accounts were unanimously approved, closing the year with a slight positive balance, as well as the 2017 budgets containing a small increase in the budget items for athletes, so they all expressed satisfaction with the numbers obtained in the past and those presented for 2017. The Class Secretaries, for their part, took stock of the activities and displacements carried out as well as the achievements achieved in 2016. After their exhibition they explained the sports projects, local, autonomous, national and international races planned for 2017. A timetable which, despite slight changes in dates, was adopted unanimously. The Assembly was closed with a positive balance and widespread satisfaction by finding that the accounts of the Federation of Madrilestra de Vela follow the line marked by the new Board of Directors and that they are still on a path of recovery and updating.
