09 / 03 / 2017: The Valencian Olympic Week of Sailing begins with the "armed"
The Olympic Week of the Valencia Community has not been able to have a better debut. The first day in which the three-test program was completed in the two headquarters: Torrevieja and Alicante, and in both the favorites and which counts options to step on the podium on Sunday have not failed. In Torrevieja, with the National Laser Standard in play, canary color above the table. Joel Rodríguez and Joaquín Blanco lead the provisional general and both regatists of the nautical Gan Canaria do so with 5 points. The best partials of Rodriguez 1-1-3, leave him no. 1. On the contrary, White with 2-2-1, they keep the 2. Behind Carlos Roselló (CN Ibiza) is third thanks to the 5-4-2 partials adding 11 points. Another of the favorites, Joan Cardona (RCN Palma), has also not failed to place himself in the fourth square with 13 points, followed by Lithuanian Martis Pajarskas with 20 points. In local key, Jesus Rogel, has finished in the seventh square 22 points, highlighting a fifth place as the best partial, achieved in the second test of the day.

Favorites do not fail in the start of the Olympic Week of the Valencian Community... With regard to the headquarters of Alicante, the script has remained the same, with the favorites showing their letters to the first change. Jordi Xamar (CN Cambrils) and Nicolás Rodríguez (RCN Vigo) have imposed their law on the capital of the Costa Blanca, although it is true that their beginning has been marked by a third party. The Catalan-Galician tandem has then been clearly imposed on the following two tests. That allows them to have the first place in the provisional general with 5 points.
With four differences over them, Enric Noguera (CV Port d'Andratx) and Toni Massanet (RCN Palma) have been placed, who have gone from missing to more: 4-3-2. Previous 8 / 03 / 2017: Standard laser nationals and 470 are put into operation in alicantine waters
Standard and 470 lasers lift the curtain of the Olympic Week of the Valencian Community. The Olympic classes, standard laser and 470, will play from Thursday to Sunday the national title in the waters of Torrevieja and Alicante. From Friday they will start to compete the rest of the fleet, with the exception of the windsurfing and radio control formula IOM, which will start on Saturday. A total of 12 tests are planned for these four days ahead. In 470 Masculino Jordi Xamar del Náutic Cambrils and Nicolás Rodríguez del de Vigo point to the podium, although we must not forget others that can give much in Alicante, case of Albert Torres de Palma and Xesc Mulet de S'Arenal; the two brothers David and Alex Charles de El Balís or José Manuel Ruiz del Mar Menor and Fernando Dávil del Candado. In 470 Feminine, there are no doubt three "special" crews, for their palamarés, titles, Olympic medals and for much qua will give in Alicante, such as the Majorcan Silvia Mas and Paula Barceló; the Coruñesa Sofía Toro and Ángela Pumariega of the gijonés Astur de Regatas, as well as the Barcelona and Barbara Cornudella and Sara López.

The Olympic Week of the Valencia Community is launched in its two headquarters: Torrevieja and Alicante. In the first the laser standard and in the second the 470 and in both the title of Spanish champion (Pep Portas) will be at stake
In Torrevieja the show will have many special protagonists and many will surely enter the quinielas to be on the Sunday podium. From the Nautico Gran Canaria we have the best: Joaquín Blanco and Joel Rodríguez. To these two are added the important ballast fleet led by Joan Cardona and Joan Roselló to quote one. It also highlights the Polish fleet or the Catalans with Mon Cañenas as one of the highest exponents. The Laser standard also has representatives from Andalusia, Murcia Region, with the presence of Carlos Martínez and Comunitat Valenciana with all the looks placed on the local Jesús Rogel who hopes to achieve a good result at home. At the international level, and in addition to Poland, the Standard has the presence of Belgium, Lithuania, Switzerland, Portugal and Venezuela. As a note to highlight the torreviejense citation, it has the presence of an interior water regatist: Gatón Cruz del Mar de Aragón.
Weather forecasts point to a little wind in the first two days in Alicante and a little better in Torrevieja. A forecast that points to a slight rise in wind intensity for the last two days.
