Eight teams representing seven nations, with 40 of the world's best crew on board, will meet in the waters of Oman, in front of the Al Mouj golf club, to fight the first four days of the season that will end in December to get the championship currently held by the Swiss of Alinghi. The crews are playing this week the GC32 inaugural Championship in the same waters, which has brought together the fleets of this kind of monotypes of the Extreme Sailing Series and the GC32 Racing Tour.
