The Queen's Cup will live this summer its nineteenth edition

The Trophy SM La Reina-Regata Tribute to the Navy, which has in play the 3th edition of the Cup Admiral Sanchez-Barcáiztegui will be held from June 29 to July 2, 2017 in the waters of Valencia, with the organization of its Royal Nautical Club. The last edition of the test had as absolute winner the "Doctor Senis Clinical Group," which was also imposed in class 1... proclaiming itself the Spanish champion of the Zona- Mediterranean. The Italian ship "Low Noise II" was made with the victory in ORC 2, while "Saona" and "A Sea Without Barriers" did the same in classes 3 and Open, respectively. To provide facilities for the shipowners of other clubs who want to participate in the SM La Reina Trophy and the King's Cup, which is held a month later, the Royal Nautical Club of Valencia offers the possibility to have a free mooring during the month of July to all the ships that participate in both races. In addition, vessels registered before 30 April may enjoy a discount on the registration fee."Our race has always been a good preparation for the King's Cup, and we want to give the maximum possible facilities to the shipowners to come to compete also to Valencia", comments the sports director of the Valencian club, Pedro Quiroga..."We hope that the race will continue to grow and have first-level units, as in previous years. The SM The Queen Trophy will have three days of competition, on 30 June, 1 and 2 July. The number of participating vessels is expected to roar the 100, which will be divided into classes ORC 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and Club, depending on their characteristics. The ORC 0, 1, 2, 3 and 4 classes will play a maximum of 6 tests during the three days of competition, while the ORC Club will join the competition on Saturday, playing a maximum of three in total.
