The president of the Galician Vela Federation has put on the table serious irregularities in the electoral process that affect two members of the Gestora (Photo FG Vela)

Manuel Villaverde Fernández, President of the Galician de Vela Federation and member of the RFEV's Management Commission, has addressed the Electoral Board to challenge the electoral process to the Spanish Federation. The strategy of the top representative of the Galician candle to request the annulment of the acts of the electoral process following the submission of candidates to members of the general assembly is based on the content of the Electoral Regulation such as the Order CD / 2764 / 2015 which declares the incompatibility of belonging to the Manager, with the presentation of cfandidature to the elections. In the opinion of Villaverde both José Manuel Fernández Aguado (president of the Valmayor Regatas Club) and Joaquín González Devesa (president of the Balear Federation), are framed within this assumption as members of the Gestora Commission. The gravity of the facts is significant, since Aguado is not only a member of the commission, but also president after Julia Casanueva's resignation.

Villaverde warns that the claim that it does not incompatibility because in the Management Commission it is in its personal capacity and in the candidacy it is as a club representative, "it is only a gross attempt to avoid compliance with the rule, the purpose of which is to provide the process with some objectivity and impartiality. We can hardly believe in the impartiality of the Management Commission if its president has a direct interest in the outcome of the votes for being a representative of a candidate club for the assembly". Villaverde also speaks of the president of the Balearic Islands, when he says:"I am referring to Mr. Joaquín González Devesa (alias Chimo), who is carrying out a frenzy propaganda to support the candidate Julia Casanueva. Summing up that Manuel Villaverde officially requests the Electoral Board (transferring the documentation to the TAD and the Secretary of State for Sport) that "declare the acts of the electoral process after the nomination of members of the General Assembly invalid."
