On the website of the Valencian Federation of Vela, a joint communiqué of the federations of the Valencian Community itself, the Balear and the Catalana signed by its three presidents: José Martínez David, Joaquín González Devesa and Xavier Torres Isach, respectively in which they openly and officially support Julia Casanueva's candidacy for the presidency of the Royal Spanish Federation of Vela. We were already saying, even if there are opinions that Turró has more than half way to victory, that the struggle was to be held up because although the Catalan's support seems more numerous, surprisingly those of the cantabra are protected by three of the strongest sailing federations. In view of the current process of elections to the presidency of the RFEV and after analysing with the utmost interest the programmes and lines of action of the existing pre-candidates, we note that from the Federation of Vela of the Valencia Community, the Balearic Federation of Vela and the Catalan Federation of Vela and in coordination with other autonomous federations we believe it is appropriate to support and support the project presented by the Julia Casanueva.
