Total success in the painting and reference of the "Maridome" in Arenys de Mar by Varador 2000

Varador 2000 has achieved exceptional finishes and zero pollution in the waters of the port of Arenys de Mar
Varador 2000 has just delivered one of its most complex works: the painted, afloat, of the Maridome, a large length of 54 meters that reached its technical base of Arenys de Mar at the end of September with the hull quite battered. To paint the Maridome Varador 2000 has wrapped the ship with a spectacular lining of scaffolding and plastic awnings that has facilitated the work of the painters and other operators who have participated in this reference. The floating wrapper for this complicated operation weighs 35,000 kilos, between scaffolding and awnings. According to sources of the shipyard a work of high technical complexity has been addressed, where it has had to take care of all the details to the millimeter to achieve exceptional finishes and generate zero pollution in the water of the port of Arenys de Mar. In total, 580 square meters of surface have been painted, covering the entire steel hull and the aluminium superstructure. In the process the team of Varador 2000 superyacht painters has been involved... being programmed in seven stages (each with their corresponding lining to prevent contamination) that include three pre-layers of printing and three layers of finishing. The whole process has been carried out scrupulously, in accordance with the most demanding quality standards, and using the best paintings on the market.
The captain of the Maridome has also pointed out that the exceptional seasons of this winter have made work difficult for quite a few days, "but despite this, the planned timings have been reasonably well fulfilled." While the painting work of the Maridome has been carried out - which has lasted approximately six months - the technicians of Varador 2000 have also carried out other works of repair and maintenance of the external elements of wood (carpentry) and of the internal water installation. The technical stop has also been used at Varador 2000 facilities to carry out the most common annual maintenance reviews of engines, generators, and other elements of the ship. The Maridome - built by Brooke Marine (UK) in 1989- has a crew of nine sailors and four officers who have remained on the ship while all the works described have been done. The Maridome can accommodate up to 10 people, in addition to its crew. Its use is exclusively private
