The Rat of the Spanish Regatta is already on the street

The 36 Cup of King Mapfre is already in progress. The Real Club Náutico de Palma has published today, February 15, the Regata Annunciation for a new edition of the prestigious Mediterranean event, also opening from tomorrow the period of registration for each and every class called between the divisions of monotypes, handicap and box rule: Club Swan 50, Swan 45, Club Swan 42, X-35, J80, IRC, ORC, Maxi 72 and TP52.

Nor will the GC32 be missing this year as a guest class on one of the most important quotes on the European calendar. Organized by the Real Club Náutico de Palma since 1982, the 36 Copa del Rey Mapfre will be held in the Bay of Palma between July 29 and August 5, being the first two days for confirmation of inscriptions and measurements and beginning the races on Monday, day 31. In front of it, six intense competition days in which the Regatas Committee will try to complete a 12-test program for the Swan 45, X-35 and J80 classes; 24 for GC32 and 11 for the rest of the participating classes.

In the last edition, the Copa del Rey Mapfre brought together in the bay of Palma a large fleet of up to 126 teams of 19 nationalities and managed to add even more spectacular in the field of race with the incorporation of the Maxi 72 and GC32 classes. This year, everything points to the fact that the Mallorcan meeting will again be one of the most important in recent years, and that the organization expects a record level of registration.
