More than 300 people gathered in Madrid to accompany the winners at the XXXIV National Gala of Piragüismo held in the Goyeneche Auditorium of the Spanish Olympic Committee. Emotion was the word that was most repeated throughout the event, watching the winners go up and enjoy the videos of each of the finals of the last Olympic Games. The Gala began with the deliveries of the first three clubs classified at home one of the National Leagues, where they collected the great athletes of the clubs, coaches, delegates or presidents. In total, 37 awards were awarded for all specialties, from Olympic Sprint to Free Style, through the Kayak Polo and the Slalom. In the second half of the Gala, the National Awards were given to the best coaches, arbitrators, sponsors, special mentions, and best athletes. But the most exciting moment of all was the delivery of special mentions to the entire Olympic team - athletes, technicians, doctor, physios, team leader.
