The seventh edition of the Spanish Long Distance Championship was held in the Pantano de Castrelo de Miño. It was not a hindrance that the weather did not go too far: tomorrow very cold with constant rain... but against the dead Orensane waters it was that and the field of regats became very good. The exits began at 0915 and lasted for four hours. In competition 209 teams representing 53 clubs of which 15 were from Galicia. A total success of the Organization, which for the first time was run by Luis Oliver Cañadas, in a competition in which the metals were very distributed... only the Nautical Club of Seville for its four oars and two bronzes, and another Sevillian club the Royal Club Labradores for its five cans and a bronze, were highlighted for its metal achievements.
