A ferry with more than five hundred passengers on board has collided against one of the docas of the port of Lisbon, the "Doca da Marinha." The Lusian company Trantejo through its president, José Bagarro, reported that the low visibility of the thick fog that existed at the time of the accident could be the cause of it... that occurred when the ferry was preparing to dock at the station of "Terreiro do Paco." However, the president of the Portuguese company made it clear in his manifestations that fog is one of many hypotheses that may be the cause of the accident, although the overspeed is not excluded, however he stated that the circumstances of the collision will be thoroughly investigated. He explained that when the ferry, which came from Barreiro, hit the dock some passengers had already been raised to land, so that the impact was projected and injured. Of a total of 561 people on board, only 34 were injured, of which 32 women and 2 men were transferred to hospitals in the city, Bagarro detailed, according to reports from The Portugal News website. After the accident, the company suspended its services but resumed them later, albeit with delays.
