Boluda Towage and Salvage, the division of port trailer, high, off shore and sea rescue of Boluda Corporación Marítima, will carry out next week the sea tests of its new tug "VB Xerea," the second of the series that comes into service next month in the port of Valencia. The VB Xerea is part of a series of ten new generation tugs born from the conjugation of know-how and experience in the sector that Boluda has, along with the prestigious study of naval architecture by Robert Allan and Zamakona, a construction yard.

This new generation of tugs represents a revolution and evolution in the world of trailer. Within its characteristics, it is important to highlight, the transmission of real-time data for its study, parametrization, the immediate man-tugboat interaction by transforming the tugboat into a "Smart Ship" making Boluda a pioneer in using this type of technology in our sector and energy efficiency, which allows us to adapt to the operations of the ports and services, reducing the emission levels without the operational capacity of the tugboat being reduced, in line with the objectives of the Corporate Social Responsibility Policy of Boluda Corporación Marítima.
