Ro Yachts, Vagalume, Travesío, Fuerza 4, Cassandra and Troscado command the respective groups after the celebration of the first stage of the Intercluble Cruise Regatta of the Pontevedra River (Photo Desmarque)

The Ria de Pontevedra Interclub Regata, the Portonovo Nautical Club, the Ro Yachts Club de Commudo, Real Club de Mar de Aguete, ENM Naval Regata Commission, Real Club Nautico de Sanxenxo and Club Nautico de Beluso, started. Exit to the first of the tests based in Commud from the area of the inner pontevedresa river, in front of the pier of the marinera villa. The routes to be carried out were for the fastest divisions of 10.4 miles going out and entering in the same place in front of the Pier de Commud after bordering the south in both cases the island of Tambo and turning the Morrazan beacon in the center of the Ria, while the slower classes did the same but turning the beacon of Pelados in front of the beach of Aguete and with a total of 6.56 miles of tour. Ro Yachts, Vagalume, Traverse, Force 4, Cassandra and Troscado after this opening test command the respective groups.

Organized by the nautical and marine clubs of Portonovo, Commud, Sanxenxo, Beluso, Aguete and the Naval Regatta Commission of the Military Naval School, the third edition of the Ria de Pontevedra Interclubs Regata, which will be held from 21 January to 1 April, was presented at the facilities of the Portonovo Nautical Club.

The presentation was carried out by Ruiz de Cortazar, and was represented by the six organizing clubs, as well as Manuel Villaverde, headline of the Galician Federation of Vela

The organizers expect to overcome the barrier of the 40 participating cruises, in line with the two previous editions in which 42 and 47 units were reached respectively. The routes as is normal in this series of races will be a technical decision of the regatta committee in view of the weather conditions prevailing in each of the sleeves, opting for the tours between beacons or of the type of barlovento-sotavento.
