The XXVI Levant Star Trophy Return to the Islands has not had a good start. The race organized by the Real Club de Regatas de Cartagena and held last Sunday was marked by the low wind of the North component and that forced the regatas committee to make a shorter tour of 6.15 miles the ORC 1 to the ORC 3, while the ORC 4 was 5 miles although that zero wind left them out of competition. About 11: 45 hours the cruise was set off, with a Fandango 300 by Francisco Javier Sabiote. The little breeze made the race very complicated, proof of that was the time spent by the Sage boys with 1h. 26 ′ 55 ″ to complete those 6.5 nautical miles of route. Triumph in real time and in compensation of ORC 1 for Fandango 300. The second square was for Hakuna S by Ángel Morenilla, just less than 3 minutes from the first, while the third square was for Sirius IV of the Spanish Navy with about 43 minutes difference. In the ORC 2 there was much equality between the fleet, the differences in the line of arrival were somewhat small, in terms of the time spent. The winner of the test was Dieselrec by Manuel Gambín with an inverted time of 1h. 27 ′ 27 ″. Cañas II, armed by Montoya, Rosas, Ortíz and Escudero, achieved the second square almost 3 minutes from the first. El Carmen, by José Coello, had to settle for the third place just 8 minutes from the first. Pinto Tercera, led by María Dolores Martínez, was made with the first place in the ORC 3 using 1h, 34 ′ 21 ″ to complete the tour. Zalata, from Esther Villalba and one of the favorites ended second with little 2 minutes difference on arrival. The third of the podium was Marlex, armed by Carlos González and with a difference of almost 9 minutes over the first.
