Princess Yachts Barcelona and Varador 2000 have signed a collaboration agreement by which the Arenys de Mar shipyard (Barcelona) becomes the official technical service in Catalonia of the prestigious Plymouth builder. "Varador 2000 offers us the quality and service we want for our customers in the post-sale," said Álex Colomer, director of Princess Yachts in Catalonia, Valencia, Galicia and Basque Country.

Varador 2000 is one of the most prestigious shipyards on the Catalan coast. With more than 30 years of trajectory, it is a reference of the repair & reference of sailing and motor vessels. This strength has been decisive for Princess Yachts Barcelona in choosing a technical basis of trust for its customers: "Varador 2000 provides us with technical and professional seriousness, speed and responsiveness, and security for our customers," says Colomer.

Since Varador 2000, this agreement with Princess Yachts Barcelona has also been very positive, since "being the official technical service in the entire area of Barcelona and Catalonia of a brand as reputable as this will position us even more as a technical shipyard of reference in the segment of the 20 to 60 meters," said Raül Donaire, technical director of Varador 2000.

Varador 2000 manages a shipyard in the port of Arenys de Mar specialized in the repair and comprehensive maintenance of all types of ships - both sailing and motor -, sports, professional and fishing vessels. Varador 2000 facilities and their industrial processes are approved with the certification of ISO 9001 quality management systems, ISO 14001 environmental management and occupational prevention (health and safety management at work) OHSAS 18001.

In the yard of Arenys de Mar Varador 2000 has a technical area of 10,000 square meters of repair & reference of all types of boats and length that employs a hundred professionals. The company plans to expand its technical design in the coming months by more than 2,500 square meters. The professionals of Varador 2000 are experts in all the most advanced industrial processes of the nautical as mechanics, carpentry, ebanistería, painting, electronics, hydraulic, welding and upholstery, among others.

In addition to the technical shipyard of Arenys de Mar, Varador 2000 also manages in the port of Mataró the nautical base for large lengths Mataró Marina Barcelona with capacity for thirty superyachts.

The agreement between Varador 2000 and Princess Yachts Barcelona will enter into force from January 2017.
